Founded in 1988 by the Saudi German Health group, the Saudi German Hospital in Jeddah is the originating point of a healthcare network that today includes eleven facilities across the Middle East and more than eight thousand professionals.
Established through collaborations with leading German university hospitals, it introduced advanced clinical and technological standards to the Kingdom for the first time, becoming a regional reference point for specialties such as cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, general and specialized surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics, and internal medicine. With approximately 218 beds and a central role in the region’s healthcare development, the hospital continues to stand out for innovation, training, and the quality of the patient experience.
Within this context, we designed and built four operating theatres adopting the modular SINTESY system, selected for its ability to combine high clinical performance, structural durability, and a flexible layout suited to the needs of a multi-specialty surgical department.

The operating theatres feature painted stainless-steel wall panels and glass surfaces with digital printing, introducing natural subjects in tonal harmony with the room’s chromatic palette to create an immersive and visually balanced environment. The stainless-steel cabinets with glass doors are fully integrated into the modular system, ensuring order and continuity, while the sealed ceiling houses the medical lighting and the main technical systems. The equipment includes automatic sliding doors, a 32″ touch control panel, and a digital clock, ensuring efficient room management and proper organization of surgical workflows.
This project confirms Casaluci’s commitment to supporting complex, high-volume facilities such as the Saudi German Hospital, integrating high-performance materials, advanced technologies, and custom modular solutions. Thanks to the SINTESY system, the new operating theatres integrate seamlessly within the dynamics of a multidisciplinary hospital, ensuring high functional standards, ease of maintenance, and a quality level consistent with the clinical and technological environment of the facility.
