The F. Miulli Regional General Hospital in Acquaviva delle Fonti, in the province of Bari, is a major healthcare facility in the Apulia region, offering specialized departments dedicated to patient diagnosis, treatment and care.
Within the hospital, Casaluci designed and built two operating rooms, including one dedicated to hemodynamics, using the SINTESY modular system to integrate technical surfaces, medical equipment and functional components into highly specialized clinical environments.

The project involved the creation of surgical environments using the SINTESY modular system, which allows healthcare spaces to be organized by integrating wall finishes, technical components and medical equipment into a configuration tailored to different clinical activities.
Particular attention was given to the hemodynamics room, equipped with advanced technologies for diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. The spatial configuration enhances the integration of the modular system with medical technology, featuring continuous, easy-to-sanitize surfaces designed to meet the requirements of a highly specialized clinical environment.
The digitally printed glass walls combine hygienic performance with aesthetic quality. White surfaces and light blue tones define a bright, orderly environment, while a digitally printed marine landscape introduces a visual element inspired by nature, helping create a more welcoming clinical space in line with a patient-centered approach.
The technical equipment also includes stainless steel cabinets and wall-integrated monitors, supporting the organization of medical equipment, access to clinical information and continuity of surfaces throughout the room. The integration of these components helps optimize the available space and supports the daily activities of healthcare professionals.
With this project, Casaluci confirms its expertise in the design and development of highly specialized healthcare environments, combining modularity, technical materials and technological integration in customized solutions designed to support operational efficiency, safety and the quality of care environments.
