The new Geriatric Sub-Intensive Care Unit at the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo covers a total area of approximately 420 square metres and is divided into two areas: one for medical and health activities, medical staff room, examination room, and service rooms; and the other for dedicated isolation area with eight inpatient rooms that accommodate 10 beds.

The choice of colours is a particularly interesting aspect of this project. We selected a pleasant and innovative colour combination for the antibacterial HPL cladding and decorated the panels in the corridor and in the patient rooms with high-resolution geometric digital prints.
